8. The Legal Health Check for Businesses assumes you have the legal rights under State and Commonwealth legislation to operate your Business and that you have all appropriate licenses and governing consents required by law.
9. The Legal Health Check for Businesses assumes that your Business:
   1. has complied and continues to comply with all laws of Australia (State and Federal) at all times.
   2. has complied with and continues to comply with all mandatory and voluntary codes of practise relating to the services provided and goods sold or produced by your Business.
10. Any question asked in the Legal Health Check for Businesses regarding:
    1. contracts assumes that those contracts:
       1. have been properly drafted to cover what has been agreed to by your Business.
       2. contain all clauses necessary to cover the interests of your Business.
       3. have been properly executed by the parties.
       4. have had all state government taxes paid on that contract.
       5. have been registered (if necessary) with the relevant authorities.
       6. are enforceable.
       7. are reviewed on a timely basis.
    2. insurance assumes that the insurance:
       1. is adequate in both cover amount and scope.
       2. is properly established and is adequate upon advice from your broker, lawyer or financial advisor.
       3. has been issued on the basis that your Business has disclosed to the insurance company all relevant, necessary and disclosable facts.
11. The Legal Health Check for Businesses is the intellectual property of Law Central Legal and all information contained therein is the subject of copyright.
12. The Legal Health Check for Businesses score card is derived from a range of calculations and factors selected by Law Central Legal. The formulae used in making the calculations have been derived by internal staff and are unique to Law Central Legal. No independent testing of the Legal Health Check for Businesses has been conducted by any third party organisation verifying its validity or accuracy.
13. The score card is not legal advice and should be used as general information only. You should contact your lawyer to discuss any concerns you may have.
14. The Potential Areas of Deficiency listed on the score card should not be considered as legal advice. They are areas which have been identified by the Legal Health Check for Businesses as potential areas on which you may wish to seek professional advice.
